The 2017 Ferrari Challenge Asia-Pacific returns to Singapore in support of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix.

The Marina Bay Street Circuit, one of the most challenging on the F1 calendar with 23 corners, will see 30 drivers representing Singapore, Japan, China, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, the United States, Canada, France and Italy.

They will pilot the new 488 Challenge for 2 races around the 5.065 km unique track located near the harbor side.

The races will provide overwhelming excitement and adrenaline to the packed weekend as fans from around the world witness some of the best racing action from Maranello.

Ferrari will contribute to the President’s Challenge, Singapore’s official and most important charity organization.

The 488 Challenge is the 6th model to participate in the 1-make series which, in Y 2017, celebrates its 25th anni since the series’ debut in Y 1992.

It is the 1st-ever turbo-charged model to race and the most powerful Challenge car ever, powered by the 670 cv 3.9-litre V8 derived from the series production engine that took the overall 2016 International Engine of the Year Award.

Thanks to extensive development of the car’s new engine, aerodynamics and chassis, the 488 Challenge reaches new levels of performance, achieving a new record of 1’15.5” of the Fiorano track with a Ferrari Challenge car.
