Ferrari (NYSE:RACE) Celebrated its 70th Anni at Goodwood
At the weekend Ferrari fans saw the entire range of historic sports and road cars on a special display in front of Goodwood House in a unique celebration of Ferrari’s 70th Anniversary.
The 125S that was the 1st of Enzo Ferrari’s cars to wear the now iconic Prancing Horse badge, and in Y 1947, it was the 1st car to bear the name Ferrari.
As part of its 70th Anniversary celebration Ferrari brought its full Y 2017 Supercar lineup, and its 125S (a factory built replica), which took to the famed Goodwood hill climb alongside the Limited Edition LaFerrari Aperta.
The pair also led a Ferrari-only parade consisting of 70 cars, consisting of both road and race cars, some of which included championship winning single seaters.
The 125S was really special back in Y 1947, that due to its steel tube-frame chassis, double wishbone suspension and hydraulic power front and rear drum brakes.
Power came from a 1.5-liter V12 with 118 hp coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox There were just 2 ever built, only 1 original exists today
Looking at The Maranello outfit’s oldest and newest side-by-side is not something Ferrari fans are going to see often.
