Fake News in the Hunter’s Gun Sights
Thursday, US President Donald Trump took to Twitter to focus on fake news, asking for the Senate Intelligence Committee to investigate “Fake News Networks.”
Why Isn’t the Senate Intel Committee looking into the Fake News Networks in OUR country to see why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!
The Tweet comes in the aftermath of Trump’s assault on NBC News, a unit of Comcast Corp (NASDAQ:CMCSA) a day ago for its story on Rex Tillerson, reporting that the Secretary of State nearly resigned after President Trump’s speech to the Boy Scouts.
And that he called the President “a moron,” something Secretary Tillerson quelled in a statement Wednesday, and that the State Department backed up later.
President Trump 2X’d down on NBC in a Tweet issued later Thursday.
Rex Tillerson never threatened to resign. This is Fake News put out by @NBCNews. Low news and reporting standards. No verification from me.

It also comes the day after Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Sen. Richard Burr, (R-NC), and ranking member Sen. Mark Warner, (D-VA), reported that the issue of collusion with Russia is still unresolved and open. Read, no there, there.
