F1: Ferrari’s (NYSE:RACE) Vettel’s Time to Perform is Here

$RACE

After falling down under team management pressure in the past 2 seasons, this now Ferrari’s (NYSE:RACE) Sebastian Vettel’s, 31 anni, chance to show he can deliver a long-awaited F1 title for The Scuderia.

He is motivated by the Schumacher legacy and that the young and ambitious Charles Leclerc, 21 anni, touted as F1’s next big star is his new team mate.

The season-opening race is this Sunday at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. Mr. Vettel is a consistent winner at Albert Park.

Mr. Vettel challenged strongly during 1-H of Y 2018, when Ferrari surpassed MercedesAMG for speed. But like in Y 2017, Ferrari made errors under its fear tactic team leader, and Lewis Hamilton punished them as he sped to a 5th world title, his 4th with MercedesAMG.

Seb’s errors ultimately cost team principal Maurizio Arrivabene his job and he was replaced by Mattia Binotto, Ferrari’s CTO a leader who fosters ‘teamliness’ rather than ‘meanliness’. And the fans see the good omens ahead.

On Messrs Vetttel and Leclerc: “Obviously the 2 will be free to fight,” Mr. Binotto said. “If there is any ambiguous situation at the start of the season, Sebastian is the one who’s got today more experience, many years he is with us, he has already won championships, so he is our champion.”

Mr. Binotto’s caution is based on the fact that Ferrari wasted lots of points when Mr. Arrivabene did not prioritize Mr. Vettel over Mr. Raikkonen, even though Mr. Vettel was fighting for the title. After the Italian GP, Mr. Vettel was exasperated by his team’s poor strategy and set out to torpedo Mr. Arrivabene and did so handily. Ferrari sacked him!

Mr. Vettel remains locked on 4 world titles, all during Red Bull’s dominant era from Y 2010-13 and is now set to set the record with Ferrari as he follows his idol Michael Schumacher.

Last season was Mr Hamilton’s best, and took him to 73 GP wins within 18 of Mr. Schumacher’s F1 record. Hang on, 18 wins is a lot, and a whole lot now that Ferrari’s team is aligned to win.

The iconic Italian Supercar manufacturer claimed the title according to the latest Brand Finance Global 500 2019 report launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Ferrari is the Aristocrat of the automotive sector.

HeffX-LTN overall technical outlook for RACE is Bullish across the board, and there is very little resistance here and none above 140.26. All of our Key indicators are Very Bullish in here.

Have a terrific F1 week in Melbourne.
