FLASH: Sebastian Vettel Topped the 1st day of F1’s pre-season after Ferrari made an impressive start to testing.
Sebastian Vettel topped the 1st day of Formula One’s pre-season after Ferrari (NYSE:RACE made an impressive start to testing.
Mr. Vettel was 0.4s secs quicker than the next fastest driver, Carlos Sainz in the McLaren, and completed the most laps with a total of 169. Mr. Vettel posted up a string of laps in the 1:18s towards the end of the morning session, using Pirelli’s new C3 compound (Softs) to set the fastest time.
Of the teams running, Racing Point had the worst day with just 30 laps. The team put the lack of mileage down to first day teething problems after it didn’t complete a shakedown like the majority of other teams ahead of the first day of testing. Sergio Perez’s fastest lap was still good enough for 7th behind the Toro Rosso of Daniil Kvyat.
This year 4X F1 champion Sebastian Vettel enters his 5th season with The Scuderia, and is joined by rising star Charles Leclerc, who replaces Kimi Raikkonen, who is now driving for Alfa Romeo.
Ferrari’s Brand: Ferrari became the world’s strongest brand, with a score of 94.8 out of 100 and an AAA+ rating just last month.
Ferrari is the Aristocrat of the automotive sector.
HeffX-LTN overall technical outlook for RACE is Bullish across the board, and there is very little resistance here and none above 140.26. All of our Key indicators are Very Bullish in here.
Have a terrific week.
