FLASH: Leclerc’s Bahrain GP Ferrari engine problem explained

In the aftermatch of Charles Leclerc’s loss of a 1st F1 victory in the Bahrain Grand Prix, there was confusion over the nature of his Ferrari’s engine problem.

In the latest video analysis, Jake Boxall-Legge and Stuart Codling join Glenn Freeman to explain the effects of the cylinder issue that hit Mr. Leclerc late in the race, and how he was able to manage it to finish.

Mr. Leclerc left even MercedesAMG’s Lewis Hamilton impressed the back and forth battle between The Scuderia and arch-rival MercedesAMG.

The 3rd place finish does no justice to Mr. Leclerc’s Bahrain Grand Prix. Last week he repeatedly showed why he will reset the F1 pecking order not just in the long term, but in the Y 2019 title battle

History will record the 2019 Bahrain Grand Prix as another victory for Lewis Hamilton, his 74th. Considering he was in the 2nd-fastest car and forced Sebastian Vettel into a mistake in battle to ensure he inherited the lead late in the race, it was a lovely win win for him.

Leclerc & Hamilton

But what the record books will not reflect is that this was the moment a Star was born in Charles Leclerc, whose maiden F1 podium deserved to be a victory of consummate skill worthy of Mr. Hamilton at his best.

That Mr. Hamilton magnanimously raised his hand as he apologetically passed the stricken Ferrari tells you everything you need to know.

The iconic Italian Supercar manufacturer claimed the title according to the latest Brand Finance Global 500 2019 report launched at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Ferrari is the Aristocrat of the automotive sector.
