FLASH: This new F1 season is upon us, with this weekend’s Australian Grand Prix kicking off 2019, and Ferrari is the Team to focus on as I see it.

Former F1 driver Martin Brundle turned F1 media pundit, believes “things were not right” at Ferrari last season, and that the Maranello Outfit got it right with the sacking of Maurizio Arrivabene as team principal and replacing him with Ferrari’s CTO Mattia Binotto.

Australian F1 Grand Prix 2019 Qualifying: Results, Times from Friday’s Practice summarized below, as follows:

MercedesAMG’s Lewis Hamilton topped the time-sheets in both practice sessions ahead of the 2019 Australian F1 Grand Prix on Friday.

Mr. Hamilton finished just ahead of Ferrari’s (NYSE:RACE) Sebastian Vettel in the 1st session of the new season at Albert Park, with the pair split by just 0.038 secs.

In the 2nd round, Mr. Hamilton’s closest rival was team-mate Valtteri Bottas, who was 0.048 secs behind with a time of 1:22.600.

In 2-H of the session went to Mr. Hamilton, Ferrari duo Vettel and Charles Leclerc and Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen.

Mr. Bottas reached the halfway stage with the quickest time.

Mr. Vettel managed 35 laps in his new Ferrari aka ‘Lina’, but his complaints to his team about an unknown issue and a trip to the garage midway through the session offer some insight as to why he was not able to challenge Mr. Hamilton on the time-sheet.
