The power unit of Ferrari’s new F1 car was recently fired up for the 1st time at the Maranello Outfit’s HQ, overseen by new team principal Mattia Binotto.
The new F1 car, codenamed 670, is just a bare chassis now, with its bodywork and aerodynamic elements in development or build ahead of its 15 February date. Then plans to test at Barcelona, Spain for ‘shake down’, ahead of the official group test there on 18 February
With its 2 customer F1 teams to supply, Haas and Sauber, it was important that Ferrari was able to prove its power unit, transmission and rear suspension were all assembled and functioning as planned, hence last weeks firing up.
Here it is, hear it!
HeffX-LTN’s overall technical outlook for RACE is Bullish across the board.
Have a terrific weekend.
