Economist Larry Kudlow Accepts President Trump’s Call to the White House
Larry Kudlow said he has accepted President Donald Trump’s offer to serve as White House economic adviser.
The former advisor to President Ronald Reagan, Mr. Kudlow says he opposes the recent trade tariffs but is “in accord” with President Trump’s policies.
Mr. Kudlow says he was offered the job in a phone call Tuesday night with President Trump and accepted. He notes that he is an advocate of free trade and opposes tariffs. But he says, “I’m in accord with his policies.”
Mr. Kudlow credits President Trump’s handling of the economy during the President’s 1st 14 months in office, saying, “The economy is starting to roar and we’re going to get more of that.”
