Handassa (FR) – Came onto the main track at Meydan on Monday morning. He led three other French horses in a slow canter once around the track before going around once more slightly faster. He was ridden by Marlene Danos, who said: “We didn’t do much, just a nice steady canter so that he could breathe a bit.”

TM Thunder Struck (US) – Narrowly missed out on winning the Group 1 Kahayla Classic last year and is looking to go one better this time around.

Trained in Qatar by Alban de Mieulle, he arrived in Dubai on Monday morning at 8 am. His trainer said: “He travelled well and is in good form. “He worked yesterday. In fact, he did a really nice piece of work and I’m very happy with him.”
