Climate Advocate, Al Gore, Challenges President Trump to Stop the Movement
Al Gore says that the so far in Donald Trump’s Presidency it is being proven that no 1 person can stop the climate movement, “not even the President of the United States.”
The former US Vice President painted a hopeful picture for star studded Hollywood environmentalists at the Cannes Film Festival Monday. He claimed that some US states have already surpassed the climate efforts of Mr. Hussein Obama.
While campaigning, Donald Trump vowed to “cancel” the landmark Paris climate accord of Y 2015.
Mr. Gore was in Cannes to promote the sequel to his Oscar-winning documentary “An Inconvenient Truth.”
He also expressed optimism for another cause dear to the French: the future of the big screen. Mr. Gore called traditional movie-going “an unparalleled opportunity in the modern world” to directly communicate to a captivated audience.
Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX) is at the core of the problem.
