British Pound: USD/GBP (GBP=X) faces high volatility
British Parliament has rejected Prime Minister Theresa May’s Brexit deal with a majority of 230, 202 vs 432.
With the initial market reaction, the GBP/USD pair slumped to a low of 1.2667 and was last seen trading around 1.2710, down 1.15% on a daily basis.
GBP/USD has pushed steadily higher over the past week, and any weakness today could be seen as a possible buying opportunity, with a dip towards $1.28 and rising trendline support from the lows at the beginning of the month offering an interesting risk-reward dynamic.
