Officials of the Breeders’ Cup Festival and organizers of the Host Committee today announced that Surf Cup Sports, Coldwell Banker Global Luxury and the San Diego Tourism Authority have been named official partners of the 2017 Breeders’ Cup Festival, a week-long series of events and activations leading up to the 34th annual Breeders’ Cup World Championships on November 3 and 4 at the iconic Del Mar racetrack in Del Mar, Calif.
Designed to showcase the best of San Diego’s local culture, the Breeders’ Cup Festival programming will feature a myriad of events, including musical performances to art walks and food festivals, and a golf and poker tournament, for visiting guests and locals alike to enjoy ahead of the weekend’s races.
The festivities will begin on Saturday, October 28 and continue throughout the running of the Breeders’ Cup Classic on Saturday, November 4.
Local supporters of the Breeders’ Cup Festival include the San Diego Sports Authority (SDSA), Jake’s Del Mar, the Del Mar Village Association, Del Mar Plaza, Belly Up, Ponies and Poker, Del Mar Foundation, Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club, the San Diego Union-Tribune and NBC 7-San Diego. Breeders’ Cup World Championship corporate partners Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Maker’s Mark, 14 Hands Winery, Kendall Jackson, Hendrick’s Gin, Casa Noble Tequila, Sentient Jet and Twinspires.com will support local San Diego events, as well.
