This week BloodstockAuction.com is Auctioning Stallion Covers as breeding season approaches in Australia.
The Ronald McDonald House are building a new establishment so that they can house more families, going from 18 rooms up to 60 rooms. This upgrade is approaching forty million dollars and they are still two million dollars shy off finishing the project.
In an effort to support a cause that is much needed of funds, Bloodstockauction.com are hosting an Online Charity Auction for Stallion Covers. This is the perfect way to get a great deal on some spectacular stallions and provided much needed help for Ronald McDonald House.
Not only are Bloodstockauction.com covering all costs of listings and marketing. At the fall of the hammer when the final bid wins, the commission will be exempted. Fifty percent of the sale price will go back to the stallion owners & stud farms to cover their costs and donations, with the other half being donated straight to the Ronald McDonald House – Westmead.
Larneuk Stud’s Neville Murdoch is delighted to support Bloodstockauction’s partnership with Ronald McDonald House, Westmead by donating to the cause nominations to each of the Euroa farm’s well credentialed stallions.
Whilst Bloodstockauction.com’s platform is to donate 50% of each donated service fee to the charity with the other half going to the stud, Murdoch prefers to see 100% go to Ronald McDonald House.
“Neville was the very first person to list his stallions with us,” Bloodstockauction.com’s Anthony Gafa said.
“And when we told him about the 50% deal he was offended, very quick to tell us that he wanted everything raised to go in support of the charity. He has been absolutely fantastic and we are very grateful of his support.”
“Ronald McDonald House do an amazing job,” Murdoch said, “and Larneuk Stud is proud to be involved. We urge breeders to support this wonderful cause and we look forward to welcoming their mares to the stud.”
