Many traders predicted Bitcoin to hit $40,000 in late 2017 as it was sitting at $19,650, unexpectedly bitcoin instead fell to roughly $3,000 by late 2018. Now being mid-2019, bitcoin is on the rise once again, May 23rd it was at $7,500 and has gone up $500 in 3 days to $8,000. Traders are now predicting bitcoin to hit $23,500 during 2019 and $100,000 during 2020.
