Ayatollah Ali Khamenei Tweets Threaten US in the Region
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, criticized US policies and Iran’s enemies in messages on his website and Twitter.
“They know if they enter military conflict with Iran, they will be hit multiple times,” Ayatollah Khamenei said during a meeting with workers.
In a series of Tweets posted Monday, Khamenei said the US must leave the region.
“Wherever US entered, it created instability, brought misery to people; that’s why US’s feet must be cut off from West Asia, US must exit this region,” Khamenei tweeted.
The US is purposefully sowing division among Muslims, he said.
“US officials agitate Saudis, creating discord and chaos in West Asia. Why don’t you agitate the Zionists? Because they want to turn Muslims against one another,” Ali Khamenei tweeted.
Iran’s top diplomat has warned President Trump’s Administration that Iran would “most likely” exit the Iran nuclear accord if the US abandons the deal.
