Australia: Radical Islamic Terrorists a Serious Threat

A recent US Homeland Security report revealed that Australia ranked equal third among Western nations as a target for Islamic State-inspired terror attacks.

The likelihood of Australia suffering another terror attack is “probable”, as ranked on the National Terrorism Threat Level.

“Credible intelligence, assessed by our security agencies indicates that individuals or groups have developed both the intent and capability to conduct a terrorist attack in Australia,” according to Australian National Security.

The people of Australia have a right to tackle the position of Malcolm Turnbull on Islam in Australia as there is a growing trend threat from terrorism in the every day lives of Australians.

As reported by Megan Palin of News.com.au

Twenty three Muslims have been convicted of terrorism offenses in Australia in the last four years, according to Australian National Security, this does not include the “it’s not a terrorist” terrorist attack in Melbourne’s CBD that killed 5.

Australian police arrested seven people as part of an investigation into a plot to attack central Melbourne on or around Christmas Day.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said the alleged terrorists planned to “explode improvised explosive devices” in the city’s business district.
He called it “one of the most substantial terrorist plots that have been disrupted over the last several years.” When an attack DID TAKE PLACE in Central Melbourne last week the authorities denied a terrorism link.

The attacks the Australian Authorities recognize are the Lindt Cafe siege in Sydney in which manager Tori Johnson and Katrina Dawson were murdered; the murder of police accountant Curtis Cheng by Farhad Khalil Mohammed Jabar in Parramatta and the stabbing of Wayne Greenhalgh in Minto.

In Victoria, Numan Haider, 18, attacked two police officers with a knife outside the Endeavour Hills police station before being shot dead in September 2014.

Megan Palin also provides a chilling account of the plots that were foiled (click here), a terrifying list that Australians should read.

This personalized type terror attack has been seen increasingly around the world.

In the last few days 3 Muslim immigrants in Sweden have been arrested over the gang rape of a local girl. The media report police were alerted after being tipped off that the crime was being streamed on Facebook.

Aftonbladet daily spoke to some of the members of the closed Facebook group in which the “aggravated rape” was reportedly broadcast live.

In India a mentally challenged 12-year-old girl was gang raped by a school principal and three teachers in Bihar’s Jehanabad district by Muslim men, Aju Ahmad, the principal of Kako secondary school, and three teachers, Atul Rehman, Abdul Bari, and Mohammed Shaukat.

In Germany just weeks after the Christmas market attack in Berlin, the German government reportedly issued a paper stating the country is at “high risk” of terrorist attacks carried out by “Islamist-motivated perpetrators” who may employ large amounts of chemicals to target drinking water supplies.

“A determined and well-trained terrorist group is likely to be in a position to exploit Germany’s potential chemical hazards in order to stage an attack,” says the report jointly prepared by the government and the federal police (BKA) to evaluate level of threats to civilian population.

Islamist-motivated perpetrators are able “procure and use large amount of chemicals,” it states, also describing “realistic options” of a chemical attack.

There is also “a high-risk potential” of terrorist organizations using chemicals to target food and drinking water supplies used in large residential buildings, and attacking chemical industry’s infrastructure.

Malcolm Turnbull and the Australian Government need to do more to recognize and deal with the radicalization of Muslims in Australia and do less pandering, the policy has not worked in Sweden or Germany and it is not working in Australia.
