“Sometimes it is a challenge to embrace gratitude, work on it…” –Paul Ebeling
Being grateful for all that you have even when times are bad fosters resilience. Gratitude also helps to reduce stress and helps us recover from traumatic events.
Gratitude is a choice and can be cultivated. Instead of complaining about something, take a few moments to think about what you have to be thankful for.
Plus, the ability to laugh when faced with a difficult situation helps to protect us from traumatic stress. Making fun of a potentially distressing situation will help to improve resilience. If you can laugh at a difficult situation that you might be in, it will be less daunting
Have a healthy, prosperous day, Keep the Faith!
