1 Country, 2 Economies: Red States Lead Recovery

A review of the unemployment rates at the end of July Vs January 2020 and July 2019 show a number of Red states leading the recovery and the Blue states lagging the most.

The states whose unemployment rates are bouncing back the most during the coronavirus chaos in the Top 16 are, per the study:

  4. Nebraska.
  5. Montana.
  6. Wyoming.
  7. Iowa.
  8. Wisconsin.
  9. Missouri.
  10. Arkansas.
  11. South Dakota.
  12. Oklahoma.
  13. Maryland.
  14. Kansas.
  15. North Dakota.
  16. Florida

On the bottom of the list of improving unemployment rates include many blue states, including some of the largest states run by Democrat Governors during this coronavirus chaos.

  7. Pennsylvania.

South Carolina was the state that helped turn around Joe Biden’s sinking Democrat Presidential primary hopes on the strength of the Black vote after Representative James Clyburn, (D-SC) threw his weight behind Slow Joe Biden.
