Aga Khan Quinella in Royal Ascot Gold Cup
The Aga Khan’s horse may have run second but he can take pride in fact that the winner is from on of his stallions, Sea The Stars (IRE). Trained by John Gosden and ridden by Frankie Dettori, the 4yo was joint-favourite with Order of St George as he attempted the arduous two and a half miles for the first time in his career.
Frankie Dettori had reason to celebrate as well, the win was his 60th at Royal Ascot.
What a finish as STRADIVARIUS wins the Gold Cup.
