7 Best Things to do on Christmas EVE

Are you having trouble in figuring out what to do this Christmas eve? Look no further. Here are 7 things to do this evening with your whole family:

1 Bake Christmas Cookies

Why not get your hands messy and bake tins of Christmas cookies to spread the Christmas cheer around the kitchen! Here’s a quick recipe that you could follow: https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/christmasbiscuits_93733

2 Hold a Family Game Night

Host a game night with the whole family spreading laughter and joy. Get those old classic board games ,like Monopoly, Cluedo, Battleships, Connect 4, Guess Who, Snakes and Ladders, out and play with your whole family tonight.

3 Have a Christmas Eve takeout

Save yourself time in the kitchen and order a feast tonight for your whole family and serve it in a Buffet style! With less than 24 hours before you start sweating in the kitchen making Christmas Dinner, take this time to put your feet up and relax!

4 Watch a Christmas Movie

What a great way to snuggle up and get cosy with everyone on the sofa. Get the classic Christmas DVD’s out such as Elf, Home Alone, Miracle on 34th Street, Love Actually, The Holidays, The Grinch.

5 Pin the Nose on Rudolph

Print a picture of Rudolph and cut a circle out of a piece of paper (red/white- colour it in red) Then you know how the game goes!! Make sure you don’t spin your guests too much!

6 Make a Human Christmas Tree

Call up a volunteer to be wrapped in an oversized green fabric and let the kids go wild in decorating their uncle’s or auntie’s whole body from top to bottom! To make it even more fun (And messy!) let the kids use glitter spreading the Christmas cheer!

7 Leave out Mince Pie and Milk for Santa

A classic tradition. Just before the kids go to bed, get them to leave Mince Pie and Milk for Santa. This way, it can help the children to be grateful and thankful every year for the presents they receive Christmas Morning!
