World Bank grants Indonesia US$600M to build power plant
The World Bank will grant Indonesia US$600M to build a hydro power plant called the Upper Cisokan with a capacity of 1,024 megawatt (MW), the Detikcom Online news quoted an official as saying Wednesday.
“The loan is worth US$600M from the World Bank that will be signed this year,” said Nasri Sebayang, director of planning and technology in the state power company Perusahaan Listrik Negara.
