Most people come to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show to buy a boat, but this year, one very lucky guest will win a boat through the generous partnership of Bay Cat Twin Vee, Magic Tilt and Suzuki.

The smooth-riding prize is a 2017 170 Bay Cat Twin Vee powered by Suzuki, the perfect bay power catamaran for weekend family excursions, inland waterway fishing or use as a tender. Great for both new and experienced boaters, it comes equipped with a 60-horsepower Suzuki outboard and a Magic Tilt trailer, all valued at $36,868. The boat will be on display in the main lobby of the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center show location.

“We are honored to have our new Twin Vee Bay Cat participate in such a great charity event at the boat show,” said Joseph Visconti, CEO of Twin Vee PowerCats.  “As our new management team focuses on perfecting the best riding boat on the water, we also like to take the time to enrich the lives of our employees, our community and charitable organizations that help those in need.”
Raffle proceeds benefit Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center of Ft. Lauderdale and Susan G. Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. Raffle tickets are $10 per entry and limited to 50 tickets per person. To purchase raffle tickets, please visit
The winning ticket will be selected and announced on Sunday, November 6 at 1 p.m. at the boat display in the convention center. The winner does not need to be present and will be notified. The winner is responsible for all applicable state and federal taxes. The boat will be available for pick up by the winner after the show at Twin Vee’s Fort Lauderdale dealer location.
“Three great companies have come together to raise awareness for two amazing charities that do so many important things for so many people in the community,” said Brett Keating, vice president of consumer marketing for Show Management. “Because of outstanding partners like these, we are able to have a meaningful raffle at the boat show.”
The 57th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is set to take place November 3-7 at the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel & Yachting Center, the Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Municipal Marina, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Sails Marina, Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Marina, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.
