The Week Ahead on Wall Street
Earnings season is slowing down as just 22 members of the S&P 500 are scheduled to report to Wall Street this week. The only DJIA component on the list this week is Walt Disney Co. (NYSE:DIS), which will report Tuesday.
The economic reports of note
The week’s 1st economic reports will be March JOLTS (Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey) Tuesday and April import and export prices on Thursday.
The week will close with the releases of April retail sales, the April Producer Price Index (PPI), March business inventories and the University of Michigan’s (MSI) preliminary May consumer sentiment survey Friday.
5 US Fed officials will make public appearances this week
Chicago President Charles Evans and Minneapolis President Neel Kashkari Monday
Cleveland President Loretta Mester and Kansas City President Esther George Thursday, and,
San Francisco President John Williams Friday.
From the US Treasury
The Treasury Department will auction $24-B of 3-year T-Notes Tuesday, $23-B of 10-year T-Notes Wednesday and $15-B of 30-year T-Bonds Thursday.
