UNDERGROUND FASHION IN BERLIN
July 4th 2012 there was an underground experience, which equaled the most extraordinary fashion show of Berlin Fashion Week. Literally they were underground, in a moving metro train! Running thru the Berlin subway system on a special course 14 labels and designers show their latest collections.
Styles that are featured are street/urban styles to rock, gothic, punk, pinup and many more. A few of the lines that presented this year were Mr. Steve, Hustler, Savage Wear, Elf Craft, Aurelia Paumelle, Sad + Sal, and many more.
This “Underground Catwalk” served as a forum for young Berlin Designers to show their lines without having o pay the price for a fashion tent show. Fashion week in Berlin is far from Paris or Milan Fashion week but the young designers has recently raised Berlin’s fashion profile.
Full of color and fetish the models pretty much were walking over people’s laps on this “runway”…and no champagne here! This is more of a beer and whisky venue.
