Trending Stock: $CAPR, $NBS, $XOMA, $PAY
Cell therapy industry is at the cusp of recovery in the Year 2014 as larger pharmaceuticals like Johnson and Johnson (NYSE:JNJ)’s have started to take interest in therapeutics like Capricor Therapeutics Inc (OTCMKTS:CAPR).
The shares of NeoStem Inc (NASDAQ:NBS) declined by 8.81% to $7.14. A day after it signed a service level agreement with Kite Pharma Inc through its subsidiary Progenitor Cell therapy. In Friday’s trading the shares surged by 1.16% to $7.83 before selling began. Shares of NeoStem Inc (NASDAQ:NBS) are currently trading below its 20-Day EMA which stands at $7.14. The stock has seen quite a bit of selling in last five trading sessions as it has fallen from $8.29 to $7.14.
XOMA Corp. (NASDAQ:XOMA) rose by 1.84% to $8.32 which is a new 52-week high for the stock. On 9th January’14 Vice President Patrick Md PhD Scannon had sold 20,000 shares at an average price of $8. The stock of XOMA Corp. (NASDAQ:XOMA) has been in uptrend since mid of November’13 and has rallied over 126% from its bottom of $3.67. Going forward investors are advised to trade with a stop loss of $6.75.
Shares of VeriFone Systems Inc (NYSE:PAY) moved up sharply by 4.76% in Friday’s trading session after Standpoint Research raised its price target from $28 to $33. Healthy sales and improved earnings have been the main trigger for the company ever since it crashed in Feburary’12. Shares are trading at 52-Week high at $26.90. Going forward the stock is expected to face resistance at around $28 and $29.50 levels above which it should rally.
