Conceived by Mohamed Shawesh, President and CEO of Swiss jewelers Shawish Jewelry, the ring took the entire team a year to wrought—no setting involved, as there is no setting in this ring.
Using a multi-pronged approach with laser-cutting and traditional polishing, the 150-carat bauble will see no similar contender in the near future: its design has already been copyrighted.
On display at the recently concluded Baselworld, the extravagant creation will set a very deep-pocketed suitor at least US$70 million. Single ladies, get ready to mingle!
