Technical Strategy buy USD/JPY and Yen medium term
We like the Yen at this level and have made it a buy for sometime, my target for now is 85.
If you like a high risk trade the EUR/JPY we are targeting 1.25
Here is the Lloyds View.

Sell USD/JPY at current spot: 83.80 (18 Dec 2013 = 83.46)
Stop-loss: 85.07 spot
Initial target: 79.21 (long-term potential to retest 75.35 low)
Reward / risk ratio: 3.61 / 1
Short-term signals are now completing to buy JPY v USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, NZD and CAD. These coincide with a test of long-term trend resistance in most of these pairs.
They are therefore relatively low-risk opportunities to re-enter long-term bullish JPY trends.
Separately there is also a short-term signal to sell the Topix.
