Right Thinking Hollywood Celebrating Donald Trump’s Victory
The liberal media were big losers last Tuesday.
“Donald Trump went against the entire world, and won … I’m so proud that he is going to be my president. This is one tough, determined human being,” said Scott Baio.
Conservatives in the entertainment/media industry came out Wednesday to celebrate the Donald Trump’s victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton.
“I’m so proud that he is going to be my President. This is one tough, determined human being. I am floored by this … he’s almost as resilient as my wife.”
Mr. Baio noted how difficult it was to outwardly support Donald Trump in a wildly liberal Hollywood.
“I did take a lot of heat, which was to be expected. I did get some threats,” he says.
Meanwhile, there were several who were taking shots at an allegedly biased news media that predicted a Clinton victory. “Liberal media were the 2nd-biggest losers last night,” said Brent Bozell, President of Media Research Center.
Donald Trump’s victory was a massive repudiation of the US press.
The Message: Do not believe the liberal media, it talking heads and pundits.
At PJ Media, a company run by Oscar-nominated screenwriter Roger Simon, staffers created a video mashup of anchors and pundits on CNN and MSNBC predicting a “Landslide” victory for Hillary Clinton, with many saying Donald Trump would take other GOP down with him.
Others were noting the discrepancy in how much money the entertainment-media industry gave to Mrs. Clinton over Donald Trump. About $22-M to $300,000, according to OpenSecrets.org.
Several websites this past week published the list of 16 celebrities who promised to leave the country if Donald Trump were elected President, they are as follows:
- Barbra Streisand
- Bryan Cranston,
- Miley Cyrus
- Al Sharpton
- George Lopez
- Keegan-Michael Key
- Neve Campbell
- Whoopi Goldberg
- Samuel L. Jackson
- Chelsea Handler
- Cher Bono
- Jon Stewart
- Amy Schumer
- Lena Dunham.
Notably, many of those were hammered just prior to Election Day by conservative street artist Sabo, who posted fake real estate signs all over Beverly Hills featuring Donald Trump as a Realtor selling the home of one of the packing up celebrities.
People celebrated the political “glass ceiling” break in that Kellyanne Conway became the !st woman to run a successful Presidential campaign.
Ms. Conway started as a Trump adviser and pollster and was made campaign manager in August, a month after Trump accepted the nomination for president at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in Ohio.
Have a terrific weekend.
