Race, Religion, Politics: What the World Needs Now, is Love

The world is diverging at a rapid and violent rate, Trump, Islam, Black, White, Left and Right, the divergence is polarizing friends, families communities and countries, and it has to stop.

The very conversation is breaking down, degenerating in to hate and conflict. Socialism, everyone’s enemy is on the rise.

I think Trump must act to prevent White Supremacists, Racists and bigots from feeling empowered by his victory, I do not necessarily blame him for that, in a large part I consider morons like CNN’s Van Jones etc as the instigators of reporting fake news to support their own agenda, do not listen to them.

It is a fact, and I have seen it first hand that some people in positions of power are taking Trump’s victory as a green light to let their own racism out, that is not America, it is not Australia and it is not acceptable. But I have seen other things that are not acceptable too, calls for Sharia Law in western countries, the rape of Europe, Black Lives Matter Speeches, The Berkley Attack, the Shooting of People by Police, Islamic Terrorist attack in Melbourne, hate speech from Islamic Clerics, a US Presidential nominee openly calling himself a Socialist, the disadvantaged African America Suburbs of America, but by far the worst thing I have seen is the Twitterfication of Political argument, ideologies can not fit in to 140 characters, it is idiotic and divisive, there must be conversation, long boring detailed conversation to set ourselves on a new path.

On the hot question of Islam, given the disaster in Europe and Australia a moratorium on some countries is a good idea, putting in place screening measures is also a good idea.

But I have to say importing and empowering any Islamic refugees that promote Sharia Law in the USA or any other western country is an affront to Sovereignty and the rights of citizens to their own culture. That’s not a one-way street I also oppose Western Countries trying to impose their values in other Sovereign nations.

It is ok for us to be different, completely different, but still love and respect each other as fellow human beings. Don’t look to the politicians to do it, start it yourself!!!

As I have written before

I love Dubai, I think Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is one of the greatest leaders and visionary’s on the planet, he has invested in his people and his country to make it a shining example not only for the Muslim world but for everyone. The UAE is a great country with great people.

The Australian Government should follow his lead, build your own country based on your own traditions and invest in your own people.

When I am in the UAE, I follow the local traditions, I conform to their social norm, I respect and celebrate their holidays. Festivals be they National or Religious are a celebration of humanity, something we should all enjoy.

In America when the Star Spangled Banner comes on I am standing for it, 4th of July I am lighting Fireworks, Thanksgiving I am cooking a Turkey. I love Americans.

We demand that level of respect at home. In Australia people should respect an honor our traditions. Our traditions should not be curbed because they offend someone, that is not integration that is complete disrespect to the men and women that built the country, that is not racism.
