National Coffee Day 2016: Where to find Coffee Deals in Your Town

Thursday, September 29 is #NationalCoffeeDay. Toast your favorite brew & tip your Baristas.

Thursday, September 29 is National Coffee Day and with it, great deals on coffee are to be had at all of your favorite brew-stops.

Do you run on Dunkin’?

Or are you a Peets Coffee kind of coffee drinker?

Do you still drink Starbucks?

Is Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf your spot?

Or is a brand new place like Bean or Augies more your style?

Whether small neighborhood shop like my favorite, Javista Organic Coffee Bar,or a national chain, here is what’s happening for you hipster coffee drinkers out there.

Dunkin’ Donuts: Celebrating 66 years of its signature coffee, Dunkin’s National Coffee Day deal is a medium-sized hot coffee for 66 cents. They are also bringing back the Coffee Day Snapchat Geofilter design. It’s available for 1 day and can be unlocked at any of Dunkin’ Donuts’ US locations.

Krispy Kreme: Visit Krispy Kreme for a free original glazed doughnut and a free 12-oz cup of coffee at all participating locations. On Thursday September 29 through Sunday October 2, will offer maximum coffee deals online. Customers will get 20% off Green Mountain Coffee K-cups and Original Donut Shop Coffee, also. Use coupon code GREENSAVINGS at checkout.

Peet’s Coffee: Participating locations of Peet’s Coffee will give a free medium drip coffee with purchase of any food item.

Finally, if you have heard the news about “Coffee Tree Rust” and the devastation it has had on coffee farmers, you may want to head to your local Starbucks.

Starbucks: Starbucks  (NASDAQ:SBUX) across the nation will offer “coffee for a cause” on National Coffee Day. Thinking long term, Starbucks is raising funds to donate coffee trees to help fight coffee rust in Latin America.

On National Coffee Day, Starbucks will plant one tree for each purchase of fresh brewed Mexico Chiapas coffee at 13,500 Starbucks locations. The goal of the operation is 20-M new coffee trees to be planted by the end of Y 2016.

Starbucks is battling the coffee rust by donating enough to plant 18-M rust resistant coffee trees in one year, according to their website.

What’s hot, caffeinated, and free?

Some coffee shops in SoCal are celebraating National Coffee Day by giving free coffee to Honda drivers, not seeing anything for Ferrari drivers, humm.

Free or not I always opt for Organic coffee and get mine at Javastia where fine Organic coffee is $1.00 all day to celebrate National Coffee Day, perhaps you should too, it is healthy (skip the doughnuts)

Drink healthy, Be healthy, Live lively
