Hollywood Earnings are growing fast, fewer players and a new business model are getting things on the move.

The Holiday Season is coming and Box Office Business has been strong all year and set to grow in 2011.

On the company’s earnings call Thursday, Viacom COO Tom Dooley noted a few projects in the planing stages for release after September 2011.

Star Trek 2 has a release date of June 29, 2012 and Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof are scripting it now. J.J. Abrams, who is producing, hasn’t committed to climbing back into the director’s chair, but the studio definitely wants him. He is hard at it on Super 8, which Paramount has slotted for a June 2011 release.

The other projects Dooley mentioned are a 2nd G.I. Joe movie that Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are writing and the Jack Ryan re-boot that Jack Bender is directing.

On the surprise list is a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, the company spent US$60M to acquire Global and merchandising rights to the franchise a year ago for its Nickelodeon unit. Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes banner have been developing a screenplay with writers Art Marcum and Matt Holloway.

Plus good news for Derek Zoolander fans: Dooley also included the Zoolander sequel that Justin Theroux is writing for himself to direct, and Ben Stiller could be back on the runway as the really, really ridiculously good-looking model sooner rather than later.
