Golden Globes Nominations: ‘Zero Dark Thirty,’ ‘Les Misérables ‘ And ‘Lincoln’
The nominations for the 2013 Golden Globes were announced early Thursday .
The 70th annual awards ceremony will air on Sunday, 13 January 2013.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association gave its nod to this year for Best Picture are “Life of Pi,” “Zero Dark Thirty,” “Argo,” Django Unchained” and “Lincoln” selected for Best Picture.
A a bit of a surprise is the inclusion of “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” in the Best Picture, Comedy or Musical category the film also got nods for its two stars, Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt.
As expected Daniel Day-Lewis got a Best Acting nod for “Lincoln,” as did Denzel Washington for “Flight.”
The category’s 2 big surprises were Richard Gere for “Arbitrage” and Joaquin Phoenix for “The Master.”
Gere hasn’t been garnering awards coverage for his role, and many assumed Phoenix put his foot in his mouth earlier this year when he bad mouthed the Oscars and other awards shows. Nevertheless, both were superb in their roles IMO.
