Ferrari (NYSE:RACE) Launches the 812 Superfast Road Car
The launch of Ferrari’s new 812 Superfast at Alfardan Sports Motors’ exclusive pavilion Monday marked a “super” start for the 5-day Qatar Motor Show (QMS) 2017.
Alfardan Sports Motors, the official dealer of Ferrari in Qatar is committed to bringing Ferrari’s Italian heritage to the forefront in the GCC with the unveiling of 812 Superfast at the motor show.
“The brand itself is very strong and attractive. Ferrari is always a people’s dream and for those who appreciate technology,” Charley Dagher, GM of Ferrari at Alfardan Sports Motors said.
True to its name, the 812 Superfast is the fastest road-going Ferrari ever built with a 6.5-litre V12 engine.
The 812 Superfast achieves its maximum power output at 8,500rpm with a maximum speed of 340kmh 0-100 in 2.9 secs.
“It is a significant model in Ferrari history and it is not just the fastest, but also the most powerful production car to date,” Mr. Dagher declared.
Ferrari’s superior technological advancements and impeccable craftsmanship make the brand the leader in the luxury sports car segment.
The 812 Superfast embodies Ferrari’s revered V12 heritage that came to life in Y 1947 with the 125S, the car that birthed the brand.
The new Ferrari showing at QMS 2017, coincides with Ferrari’s 70th Anni celebrations this year.
812 Superfast is the first Ferrari to feature electric power steering, which when integrated with all of the electronic vehicle dynamics controls can fully exploit the performance of the car.
The Supercar debuts of the Virtual Short Wheelbase 2.0 system that improves the agility and response time to steering wheel inputs.
