Ferrari 250 GTO (NYSE:RACE) 1:18 Exact Scale Models From Amalgam
Amalgam is now creating beautifully-presented collections of cars at 1:18 scale, made to the same exacting standards that have made its large scale models famous from the UK-based maker.
The reality of it is, most will never get the chance to own a Ferrari Supercar in our lifetime, let alone a legendary 250 GTO, the world’s most sought after car.
That being the case, there is Amalgam to satisfy our innate desire for stunning Italian supercars with their extremely accurate scale models.
The company’s newest addition is arguably even more enticing than the rest.
Now available in 1:18 scale, you could own something like the stunning Ferrari 250 GT0 24 Hours of Le Mans Edition you see here.
This example retails for US$595, making it the perfect gift for any enthusiast at any occasion.
Wearing # 19, this particular model honors the 1962 250 GTO driven by Pierre Noblet and Jean Guichet at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which achieved a second overall finish and a 1st place class finish.
It was the only front-engined car at the event, and earned the nickname “Il Mostro” just a year earlier due to its ill-fitting prototype body.
Similar to larger vehicles in the Amalgam range, each car is hand-crafted with high-quality materials.
The model is now available for order on the Amalgam website, with more models being introduced as part of the “Ferrari at Le Mans” and “Ferrari Dream Cars” collections to debut in Y 2017.
