Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel dismissed the prospect of looking over Y 2016 positively as Ferrari may see a winless season and failing on its target of being an F1 world title contender.

Both Mr. Vettel and Ferrari have struggled to build upon Y 2015 when he was the only non-Mercedes driver to reach the top step of the podium, going on to win 3 races, while also scoring 10 more podiums. With only the season finale in Abu Dhabi remaining this weekend, Mr. Vettel has just 6 podiums this year and no wins while both he and Ferrari have slipped behind Red Bull in the F1 Y 2016 championship order.

Despite feeling the SF16-H car has been a step forward the 4X F1 world champion is feeling little comfort having missed its main targets for Y 2016.

Nevertheless, Mr. Vettel reckons Ferrari’s performance this season has been “better” than its results.
