MercedesAMG Team driver Lewis Hamilton won the 2016 Austrian Formula One Grand Prix in Spielberg Sunday after a final-lap collision knocked teammate Nico Rosberg out of the lead.

Mr. Rosberg ended the race under investigation by the race stewards for causing a collision and failing to stop with a seriously damaged car.

After the race, Mr. Rosberg appeared to blame Mr. Hamilton for the shunt.

The final results are available at the Formula One official site, along with the driver standings, after Mr. Hamilton cut Mr. Rosberg’s gap at the top to 11 points.

Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen came 2nd, Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen finished 3rd to earn the final podium place on the day.

Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel suffered when his rear tire blew out when he was in the lead.

Daniil Kvyat’s nightmare weekend had one more moment of misery when the Torro Rosso driver was forced to retire. Kvyat had already suffered a major crash in qualifying, as per the F1 official site, an incident that dropped him to the pits for the big race.
