Experience Fort Lauderdale Boat Show as a VIP
Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is the largest in-water boat show in the world, attracting a world-wide audience of approximately 100,000 boating enthusiasts. The show draws an impressively diverse, international crowd of buyers, sellers and browsers who come to see the latest that the global boating industry has to offer and to do business in the “Yachting Capital of the World.”

In an industry that takes personalized service and luxury to extraordinary heights, the show offers guests the option to further enhance their visit with the VIP Experience at the Windward Club. Located at the show’s Hall of Fame Marina location, adjacent to many of the show’s largest yachts and an impressive display of exotic automobiles, the private club will provide guests with exquisite food and specialty drinks from The Grateful Palate, all set in an artfully-designed, air-conditioned space with comfortable seating and entertainment.
“The VIP Experience was such a success at last year’s show that we chose to repeat it with thoughtful improvements based on feedback from attendees,” said Brett Keating, vice president of consumer marketing for Show Management, the event’s producer. “We’ve elevated the catering, brought in a few remarkable partners and added an extra day to the schedule, delivering a heightened experience at an even better price point.”
One of the Windward Club’s most attractive benefits is the dedicated concierge team who work on behalf of VIP pass-holders to arrange yacht tour appointments. This streamlined service efficiently improves time spent at the show, allowing guests to see everything they came to see.
VIP Experience passes are $100 per day per person and are available for purchase through Show Management’s online ticketing system. Passes must be registered in the name of the person entering the Windward Club and are non-transferrable. VIP Experience passes do not include entry to the boat show. Tickets to the boat show can be purchased separately in advance online, or in person at the gate. Valet parking is available at the show’s Las Olas Marina location, 201 South Birch Road, for $65 per day, and can also be purchased in advance online.
The Windward Club will be open from Thursday, November 3 through Sunday, November 6 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. To purchase VIP Experience tickets and for more information, visit http://vip.flibs.com.
The Windward Club is sponsored by National Jets, Bank of America, Luxury Law Group, The Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance, and YachtWorld. There also will be special evening showcases each night provided by Florida Luxurious Properties and the Florida Yacht Brokers Association, which will be celebrating a major announcement. Gosling, Sky Vodka, Budweiser and Espolon Tequila also will be contributing specialty happy hours each day.
The 57th annual Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is set to take place November 3-7 at the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel & Yachting Center, the Hall of Fame Marina, Las Olas Municipal Marina, Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Sails Marina, Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Marina, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center.
FLIBS covers seven locations with nearly 1,500 boats displayed across more than 3 million square feet of exhibit space. The show draws approximately 1,000 exhibitors from more than 30 countries that display an amazing array of boats, marine products and accessories, from astonishing super-yachts, fishing boats, runabouts and boats for every budget, to fishing gear, marine art, jewelry and more, all valued at more than $4 billion. Other attractions include on-the-water boat handling classes from Carefree Boat Club, the IGFA School of Sportfishing, the Blue Wild dive and marine art show, and Hook The Future kids’ fishing clinics.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show contributes $11.5 billion to the region’s economy and supports the sustainability of 136,000 marine industry jobs in South Florida.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show® is owned and presented by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida, managed and produced by Show Management, and sponsored by Audi, Bank of America, Gosling’s, International Gamefish Association (IGFA), Smallwood’s Yachtwear, and TAITRA/Taiwan Excellence.
