Esprit Holdings HKG:0330 Over Valued, Earnings Weigh
Esprit Holdings HKG:0330 has been over valued for sometime and now the stock is headed towards our early 2012 target of $5.
Esprit Holdings HKG:0330 shares fell as much as 7 percent after it warned it may post a loss for the six months ended December due to worse-than-expected operating results for the period.
It closed at HK$11.16, down 4.5 percent from yesterday.
The company said in a statement to the Hong Kong stock exchange that it would continue to focus its efforts on rebuilding the brand, improving the quality of its products and enhancing its supply chain network.
Many brokerages cuts Esprit’s target prices after the warning. JPMorgan lowered Esprit to Underweight from Neutral and cut its price target to HK$7 from HK$11.50.
