Elite Republican’s Thing of the Past, Drain the Swamp of the Bushes
Former US President George W. Bush (43) and his wife, Laura, voted 2 weeks ago, but for neither Donald Trump nor Hillary Clinton, a spokesman said Tuesday.
The Bushes including former President George H.W. Bush (41) did not endorsed Donald Trump.
In September, former Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend posted a Facebook photo of herself with 41 and the caption: “The President told me he’s voting for Hillary!!”
A Townsend spokesman did not return a call seeking comment.
Tuesday, Donald Trump will still not commit to accepting the outcome of the election.
In radio interviews Tuesday, the Republican candidate would not say what he would do if he lost the race.
Donald Trump appeared on AM Tampa Bay on 970 WFLA and was asked if he would contest the election if the results were close.
“Well if I think there’s something that was wrong,” he said. “If I think everything’s on the up and up, that’s a lot different and we can only see what happens. I hope it’s going to be very fair. I think we’re going to do very well.”
In another radio interview, the GOP nominee said he was waiting to see what happens.
