Dubai Crocodile Park to Open in Soon
The new attraction will features hundreds of Crocodiles, according to reports
he Arab world’s 1st Crocodile park is set to open in Dubai by the end of Y 2016, according to reports.
In a tweet, Dubai Media Office said the park was 75% complete and confirmed the opening date.
Visitors to the park will be able see a variety of Crocodile breeds, including Nile Crocodiles, grow and reproduce naturally, Al Khaleej newspaper quoted Dubai Municipality director general Hussain Nasir Lootah as saying.
The publication described the presence of hundreds of Crocodiles in their natural water basins at the park, which is spread across an area of 20,000 sqms.
It is located around 10km from Dubai International Airport.
The Emirate is also planning a new Safari project to host hundreds of different species.
Once completed it will host 1,000 animals from around the world at its site in Dubai’s Al Warqaa district opposite the Dragon Mart off the Dubai-Hatta Highway.
