Donald Trump chose Indiana Governor Mike Pence, 57 anni, as his Vice Presidential running mate Thursday, according to reports.

If Donald Trump does not change his mind before his scheduled announcement in NYC at 11:00a Friday, the move would put at his side a conservative with the goal to unify the GOP.

The choice of Pence was first reported by Roll Call.

The NY-T’s said the Trump campaign has sent a strong signal to DC Republicans that he would choose Mike Pence.

Paul Manfort, the Trump campaign Chairman, took to Twitter in an attempt to tamp down the reports in anticipation of Friday’s formal announcement.

A representative for Gov. Pence did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Donald Trump has jumped to a 7-point lead over Hillary Clinton, his largest yet over the Democratic presumptive nominee, a new weekly poll from Rasmussen revealed Thursday.

  • Donald Trump: 44%
  • Hillary Clinton: 37%
  • Some other candidate: 13%
  • Undecided: 6%

Meanwhile, Democrat Hillary Clinton is losing millennials, a new Harvard University poll shows.
