Donald Trump, “Barack Obama is a failed leader, and unfit”
Tuesday, Donald Trump responded to US President Barack Hussein Obama’s attacks by describing as “a failed leader who along with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton created a foreign policy that has destabilized the world and made it an unsafe place.”
“He is the one who is unfit to be President and Hillary Clinton is equally unfit,” Trump said in a statement issued after Mr. Obama charged in a White House news conference that the GOP nominee was “unfit” and “woefully unprepared” to be President.
Mr. Obama also challenged GOP lawmakers to drop their support for their party’s nominee, declaring “There has to come a point at which you say enough.”
Donald Trump hit back quickly, linking the President and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.
“Obama-Clinton have single-handedly destabilized the Middle East, handed Iraq, Libya and Syria to ISIS, and allowed our personnel to be slaughtered at Benghazi,” he said. “Then, they put Iran on the path to nuclear weapons.
“Then they allowed dozens of Veterans to die waiting for medical care that never came. Hillary Clinton put the whole country at risk with her illegal e-Mail server, deleted evidence of her crime, and lied repeatedly about her conduct, which endangered us all.
“They released criminal aliens into our country who killed one innocent American after another, like Sarah Root and Kate Steinle, and have repeatedly admitted migrants later implicated in terrorism,” Donald Trump continued.
Ms. Root, 21 anni, was killed by a drunk driver from Honduras in Omaha, Nebraska, in January.
Ms. Steinle, 32 anni, was gunned down in July 2015 by a Mexican immigrant while walking on a San Francisco pier with her father.
“They have produced the worst recovery since the Great Depression,” Donald Trump said of Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton.
“They have shipped millions of our best jobs overseas to appease their global special interests. They have betrayed our security and our workers, and Hillary Clinton has proven herself unfit to serve in any government office.”
“She is reckless with her e-Mails, reckless with regime change, and reckless with American lives,” he continued. “Our nation has been humiliated abroad and compromised by radical Islam brought onto our shores.
“We need change now.”
