Donald Trump, “Anonymous this, Anonymous that, the NY-T’s is going to Hell”
Saturday, Donald Trump threatened to revoke the credentials of The New York Times after the newspaper published a report detailing the “failing” effort by Republican Party operatives to “save Mr. Trump from himself.”
“We have a newspaper that’s failing badly,” the GOP nominee told supporters at a rally at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. “It is losing a lot of money.
“It is going to be out of business very soon,” Donald Trump said before identifying the news operation: “The New York Times.”
“They wrote a story today, anonymous sources have said, 3 anonymous sources,” he continued. “Anonymous this, anonymous that.
“The newspaper’s going to Hell. They’ve got a couple of reporters in that newspaper who are so bad, I mean a real lack of talent.
“But it’s going to Hell,” Donald Trump said. “So, I think maybe what we will do, maybe we will start thinking about taking their press credentials, as the NY-T is a paper of fiction”
The NY-T report, by Alexander Burns and Maggie Haberman, detailed efforts by staffers to keep Donald Trump on script, focus more on policy and tone down his inflammatory rhetoric and combative style. The style that won him the nomination.
The fact is that the establishment needed him to put a soft petal on his Voice in order that Jeb could get some traction, remember that they raised, spent over $100-M and lost miserably to Donald Trump.
It was based on interviews with 20 Republicans, many of whom insisted on anonymity to avoid clashing with him,” according to the paper.
The article also described a meeting Donald Trump had with old guard GOP political consultant Karl Rove and Steve Wynn during primaries from which Has Been Karl Rove emerged “stunned” that the nominee knew little about campaign basics, how funny, Donald Trump won the primaries with record Republican voter turnout.
Remember, Karl Rove is a Bush Family operative, we all know how good he did with Low Energy Jeb.
Donald Trump has revoked the press credentials of several mainstream media outlets, including Politico, The Washington Post and The Huffington Post.
